Looking for SW / Test Engineer for station DRI position (Directly Responsible Individual). To ensure that station will working stable, DRI will working closely together with InCube IMU R&D, Customer product design team and Customer’s contract manufactures designers.Job ResponsibilitiesKeep station stable and improve and optimize station performance during prototype builds (i.e. customer new product introduction (NPI) to mass production).Responsibilities include ? Develop, optimize and debug IMU station software in C/C++/****ive-C (some Unix/Lua/Python ****ing) ? Specify and acquire equipment, components and tools for use in NPI environment forprotype builds/test? Specify and validate the required mechanical fixturing for calibrating and measuring devices ? Deploy calibration and performance verification systems throughout the NPI/build cycle ? Analyze large amounts of sensor data and adopt data-driven approach to solving engineering challenges ? Debug test/calibration of product system level down to component level? Work towards a scheduled build and manage own and other’s deliverables for success.Required Experience ? Minimum Bachelor degree? College programming in one or more of the following: C/C++/****ive-C ? Excellent English written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills ? Production testing experience? Ability to apply innovative simple solutions to complex problems. ? Experience in Unix ****ing Languages (i.e. Python, Lua) ? Experience in applying statistics to engineering problems using tools (i.e. JMP / MATLAB /Python). ? Experience data mining from large data sets in SQL / JMP / MATLAB / Python. Plus? Mac OS X experience. ? Experience working with Beckhoff PLC? Experience working with one or more of the following sensors: Gyros, accelerometer, atmospheric pressure.? Experience to work in NPI environment? Ability to read schematics, and debug PCBA? Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP), vibration control., control systems ? GIT SW version controlTypical Coursework: ? SW algorithms? OOP? Multithreaded programming? Statistics (Parametric review, and it will help introduce Gauge Reliability Repeatability (GRR) for station health)? Linear algebra (to understand calibration algorithms) ? Digital Design (especially sampling theory, FFT, DFT to understand calibration. Digital design to understand electronics of station DUT power and communication) ? Filter design (to understand mechanics of IMU mem)? Mechanics (electro-mechanical control systems)? ****ded programming desirable
